Leslie specialises in the service sector and throughout the last 12 years of a sterling corporate career, he had held various management positions with several of Singapore’s leading tourism and healthcare organizations that include Sentosa Development Corporation, Singapore Cable Car, Raffles Medical Group and the National Healthcare Group.
During his healthcare stint, Leslie had serviced key accounts such as Temasek Holdings, Agilent Technologies, Tyco Electronics, IKEA, Abacus International, OSIM International, DHL International, amongst many others, with a combined annual turnover of more than S$3 million.
Leslie is also an extremely accomplished Event Specialist having provided consultancy and management of over 400 events of more than 110,000 participants, including the 1996 WTO Preview Show and the 1999 Singapore National Dragon Dance Competition. His satisfied clientele includes the Ministry of Manpower, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, Rodyk & Davidson, Deutsche Bank, Lufthansa Technik AG, Union Bank of Switzerland, Hyatt International and many more.
His other enterprising achievements include the world’s only Cable Car Dining, an attraction-themed dining concept; ‘FlexiClaims’ – Singapore’s first integrated web-based managed-healthcare portal; Australia’s immigration agency (DIMIA) global ‘E-Visa’ pilot, a web-based electronic visa application system; and development of Singapore’s first international Tele-Radiology foray.
A Service Champion, he has won numerous accolades from clients and management alike and is credited with being the impetus of customer-centric culture transformation. He has continually improved service deliveries, systems and structure, and key processes for his clients in creating great customer experiences and is a strong advocate of TPS, the Toyota Way of “kaizen”. Leslie has also trained and managed thousands of service encounters with exceptional results.
A firm believer of life-long learning and professionalism, he complements his extensive service management experiences with the current pursuit of a Masters Degree in the Management of Quality Excellence from University of Leicester (UK), one of the world’s leading research institution.
